A group of 4 looking for a quiet holiday in the hills. A great place to enjoy the serenity of the calm cantonment town in cool mountain temperatures.

What we love

  • At almost 8000 ft., in a small colonial cantonment hill town that overlooks the valley and the mountain ranges, and where serenity reigns supreme, is this private two bedroom cottage, that could be your second home in the hills!
  • The cottage is built on two levels - the entrance level has a cosy living area, dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony, while the lower level has two bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom and a garden front with sitting area.
  • Being the army cantonment area, there’s very limited commercial activity and development, ensuring the tranquility and calm of the mountains is maintained.

What to know

  • You can relish hot food prepared by the cook, served to you on the beautiful little garden or within the comforts of the cottage. No charges apply for the cook, dishes will be charged as per the prices mentioned on the menu. Prior information is required so that necessary arrangements can be made.
  • Cute little bakeries are within walking distance from the cottage. A hot cup of tea is never far away!
  • You’ll be pleasantly surprised by the exotic food stuff that’s stocked within little shops of this small hill town - from dried berries, nuts of various kinds, pumpkin and sunflower seeds to even different types of rice!
