Experiencing the grandeur of living in a fort in the city of Udaipur. The perfect place for those seeking luxury. With its open gardens, swimming pools and panoramic views of Udaipur city, couples and groups will really enjoy a stay here.

What we love

  • This fort-palace has been carved out of a mountain with its own road that leads up to the majestic fort. The relatively new structure has been built along the lines of old palatial forts that had large courtyards, beautiful gardens on multiple levels and a step well architectural concept for the water fountain that runs across levels. You’re bound to feel like royalty during your stay here.
  • Each of the rooms has been designed with perfect attention to detail. For example, televisions are placed on the walls or protrude from the ceilings to ensure your view of the valleys and the hills are un-interrupted! Rooms are designed with simple furnishings to preserve the sense of space and serenity.
  • There are just so many place where one can spend an evening in this fort-palace with perhaps the most romantic views - the warmly lit garden, restaurant that offers panoramic views and other cosy private dining spaces.

What to know

  • The owners have a vintage car collection that is worth seeing or better still, taking a ride in!
  • The fort-palace is about 20 minutes away from the center of the city. Mobility from the fort may be a little restrictive if you don’t have your own/ rented vehicle.
  • There are two stunning swimming pools on two levels of the fort and offer some of the most spectacular views of Udaipur city, the monsoon palace and the surrounding hills and valleys.
  • There’s a dedicated spa that offers massages and is equipped with a steam bath, jacuzzi, beauty salon and a gymnasium.
