This sprawling, open yet intimate boutique hotel is within walking distance to the Fort, markets and some of the most romantic rooftop restaurants in Jodhpur. Great place for couples!

What we love

  • A drive through the narrow lanes and buzzing markets of Jodhpur will suddenly lead up to a magnificent and grand entrance to a haveli that seems so naturally like a part of the city and its structures. It really is! The heritage haveli, now converted into a luxurious yet intimate boutique hotel, belonged to the caretakers of the Mehrangarh Fort. It therefore is no surprise that it has probably the most spectacular location – right on the foothills of the fort!
  • We love how contemporary and modern design has been perfectly infused and blended with this sprawling haveli. Red hand crafted and latticed sand stone etched with a trademark design of the hotel has been used to create the new structures and rooms within the property. The sand stone they say keeps the temperatures low even during the peak summer heat!
  • There’s something about central common spaces that works so well giving a sense of openness. Here too, the restaurants, pool, boutique shop are housed right in the middle almost forming a central courtyard to the property.
  • There’s a perfect space for every meal that you’ll have while here. In the mornings, enjoy a delicious breakfast under the shade of the white umbrellas that allow just the right amount of sun to reach you. In the evenings, enjoy a drink on the rooftop terrace while admiring the majestic and grand Mehrangarh Fort followed by a romantic dinner on another rooftop restaurant that’s touted to be one of the best in Jodhpur!

What to know

  • You’ll feel right at home and pampered the minute you enter the room. Rooms here are state of the art and designed in a refreshingly different style. The heritage suites are housed within the old structure of the haveli and come with their own sun bathing rooftop lounge, sit out spaces, luxurious bedroom and a modern bathroom with a bathtub. The luxury and duplex rooms offer spectacular views of the fort. These rooms are modern and designed with a special lattice style that’s a delight to the senses! These rooms also have a sit out area that’s great for the smokers and otherwise perfect for those who wish to just wish to enjoy the weather. The garden rooms are just as good as the luxury rooms, just that they don’t have the views of the fort.
  • This boutique hotel is located right in the heart of the city center yet feels like it’s in a world of its own. The fort is a mere 10 minute walk away as are the local markets and some of the most romantic rooftop restaurants in Jodhpur.
  • There’s free wifi all around should you need to catch up on emails or google up some history on the place.
  • There’s also a spa where you get relaxing massages and therapies with therapists trained in mindfulness and heart consciousness. Choose from a host of treatments and therapies that are bound to make you feel recharged and rejuvenated.
