If you’re the sort who likes isolated beaches, the sound of the birds, the smell of earth and the aroma of authentic food, we promise you’ll want to come back here very often!

What we love

  • As soon as you enter this hidden tropical paradise, you will feel the positive aura. There’s something very magical about this place.
  • The aesthetically designed earthy cottages are modeled on traditional fishermen’s huts and have open air bathrooms. The cottages have a lovely patio where you can sip your cuppa while staring at the lush green gardens or the never ending Arabian sea.
  • This place has some of the most romantic locations - a sea-food restaurant that faces the Arabian sea and an infinity pool that overlooks the endless virgin white beaches of North Goa

What to know

  • You will have to give amiss to alcohol (except beer/ wine), red meat and loud music
  • The place is fairly deserted with the nearest sights/shops/ restaurants about 3-4kms away
  • They have multiple Ayurvedic treatments that you can sign up for under the guidance of a doctor. Regular yoga and meditation sessions are conducted at the resort.

Meeting Olive Ridley Turtles

Olive Ridley turtles are named after the delicate olive colour of its shell. Between August & March, the females visit the beaches of Neeleshwar at full moon to lay their eggs which they bury in sand. In 6-8 weeks, the eggs hatch & the hatchings struggle to make their way to the sea. Over the next 25 years, they swim the world over before the females return to lay their eggs again. Do meet them while there! :)

Cruising on the backwaters

Cruise on the secluded backwaters in houseboats converted from rice boats. Take a glimpse into the lives of the locals - children splashing and swimming in the waters, women washing clothes, men sitting on the banks of the canals and fishing. The experience is enchanting and extremely peaceful to say the very least.

Bekal Fort

Pallikere, Kerala, India

Over three and half centuries old, Bekal Fort looms large against the backdrop of the Arabian Sea. Soaring observation towers, once canon emplacements and a water reservoir with a long flight of steps add to the mystery of the place! The fort recalls the days of Tipu Sultan, the Tiger of Mysore and the martial history of Central India.
