What we love

  • This mansion is an extremely peaceful and stylishly decorated boutique hotel. It makes for a great base to explore the Anjuna region
  • The rooms, all designed uniquely, have four poster beds and have been done up with interesting furniture, art and other objects.
  • The whole place has a very tropical feel to it - lush gardens, little fountains, lots of greens, a sparkling swimming pool with lots of sitting space in the common areas

What to know

  • The swimming pool area is one of the best spots to hang out while here. You can laze around on the pool loungers or snooze off on one of the day beds.
  • The dining area is set by the poolside as well. The food is yum, however the service can be a bit slow so order well in advance.
  • The popular Anjuna beach is just about 5 to 10 minutes walk away. ​
  • Some of the amenities may not be in the best of conditions.

Anjuna Flea Market

On Wednesdays from 8am to 7pm

The market started in the 1970s when the hippies who had descended on the land of Goa from the Western world wished to stay longer but couldn’t afford to do so. They began bartering and then eventually selling their goodies in exchange of money and thus began the famous Anjuna Flea Market.

Saunter in looking for a bargain but walk out with an experience gained. Get past the local vendors, spot the artist and designer shops and find that bargain - pixie shoes, cosmic jewelry, red leather jackets, abstract art or even miniature stringed instruments! Haggle hard and be prepared for the onslaught! The market is a visual spectacle that must not be missed!
