A family or a small group of 6 interested in staying in a luxurious and private 3 bedroom villa in a tranquil part of North Goa while being close to the beaches and restaurants. A great villa for nature lovers and those with a keen interest in bird watching.

What we love

  • In a quiet residential neighbourhood that’s sprinkled with old Portuguese houses, is this elegant and private three bedroom villa that’s shaded by the tropical greens around and paddy fields beyond. Step inside through a manicured garden into a beautiful villa that’s been built using red laterite stones, furnished with solid wood furniture, upholstered with soothing cottons and decorated with interesting framed paintings, artefacts and bright handloom rugs.
  • We love the intimate spaces all around the villa that make for ideal areas to hang out and relax while soaking in the balmy tropical weather. The open style verandah, overlooking the fields and pool, has multiple hang out spots - the grand dining table for long laid-back meals with all, loungers for solo nap or reading time, as well as cosy set ups for long chats with a few.
  • There are three tastefully designed bedrooms in all, each with an ensuite bathroom. Look around closely and you’ll stumble upon some unique furniture, some beautifully creative while others reminiscent of past colonial times.

What to know

  • The swimming pool and the areas around are where you as a group are likely to chill most of the time! While adults can burn calories swimming in the well sized pool, children can flap around. Those who prefer to stay out of the water can work on their tan on the loungers, sip on a drink of their choice, read or spot a variety of birds - all this from one of the many intimate settings in and around the poolside.
  • With the luxury of your own villa, you could stir up your own meals or the well trained cook can prepare them for you just the way you like it! You can discuss your choice of dishes, preference of vegetarian or non vegetarian and go back to chilling while the cook prepares a delicious home style meal for you!
  • The vibrant beaches of Baga and Anjuna, weekly flea markets and a string of restaurants and beach shacks are just about 10 to 15 minutes drive away. While chauffeur driven cars can be hired, the rates are steep - we recommend taking a car on self drive. Often when you miss a lane or two, you discover serene villages, unnamed forts and coffee shops that are off the tourist radar. Phone connectivity in the area is patchy. Before stepping out, do familiarised yourself with the area and have the basic co-ordinates with you.

Awesome Things to do nearby

Anjuna Flea Market

On Wednesdays from 8am to 7pm

Months: October to May

The market started in the 1970s when the hippies who had descended on the land of Goa from the Western world wished to stay longer but couldn’t afford to do so. They began bartering and then eventually selling their goodies in exchange of money and thus began the famous Anjuna Flea Market.

Saunter in looking for a bargain but walk out with an experience gained. Get past the local vendors, spot the artist and designer shops and find that bargain - pixie shoes, cosmic jewelry, red leather jackets, abstract art or even miniature stringed instruments! Haggle hard and be prepared for the onslaught! The market is a visual spectacle that must not be missed!
