For a group of 6 to 10 looking to spend some time relaxing in a paradise-like hideaway in the midst of landscaped gardens, waterfalls and rice-fields. Great for annual family vacations with the elderly and the children. The vibrant streets of Ubud add some excitement and are just 15 minutes away by car.

What we love

  • Set amidst the quintessentially Balinese rice fields, lush rainforests and with beautifully landscaped gardens all around, and visions of Mount Agung, a holy landmark in Bali’s vibrant landscape, this 4 bedroom villa is for the dreamers.
  • The gardens all around are dotted with fragrant fruit trees, trimmed shrubs, blooming tropical plants and interspersed with lotus ponds, waterfalls, rivulets, fairy-tale like arched bridges. The song of the birds and the ripples of the water break the silence, while transporting you to world of Eden.
  • The breezy living and dining area offers ample room in which to lounge about in true tropical style. The space is surrounded by blossoming fishponds, with two neighbouring gazebos offering the perfect spot for a lazy afternoon snooze.
  • Each of the four bedrooms, housed under an independent cottage and crowned by a traditional thatched roof, is connected with charming pathways covered in greens. The cottages overlook the rice fields and come with sumptuous verandahs as well as a small walled garden - spaces that offer complete privacy, allowing you to retreat into your cottage with your loved one and surface again the next morning to be in the company of others.
  • The villa boasts a full staff from maids to gardeners and beyond, meaning that you have nothing to worry about during your stay – your every need will be met even before you think to voice it.

What to know

  • Surrounded by the lush green forests and rice-fields, sits a curvaceous swimming pool where one can spend hours relaxing and watching the clouds go by, the mist surfacing and the birds gliding. A place where you can choose to strengthen your friendship and bond with those you’re with or indulge in some much needed alone-time, allowing the body, mind and soul to truly unwind. The traditional bale, perched in the middle of the pool, offers shade from the strong tropical sun, while for those who’d like to work on their tan, the loungers by the pool are where you’ll end up spending much of your time.
  • The villa boasts an immaculate kitchen, where the staff will whip up a delicious local dish in no time. Try nasi goreng (fried rice) and wash it down with a refreshing juice made of fresh fruit. If you’d like to try your own hand at one of the local specialities, the staff is more than happy to show you around the kitchen. Head over to the bridge, one of our many favourite spots at the estate, for a relaxed dinner or toasting a cocktail at sunset.
  • The villa is a true hidden gem tucked into a peaceful Balinese village, just about 15 minutes away from downtown Ubud, Bali’s cultural hub teeming with charming restaurants and art galleries. The villa offers a complimentary shuttle to Ubud - whenever you wish to step out, you will be dropped and picked up. That’s not all, you’ll also be given a local mobile phone for easy communication. We also recommend exploring the almost virgin hills of Ubud - explore them on foot or on mountain bicycles, available at the villa.
