A family or group of 6 who’d like to enjoy the rice paddy fields and untouched nature of Bali, yet be close to the bustling center of Ubud. For larger family reunions and other intimate celebrations, this villa can be booked along with another 4 bedroom villa, conveniently accommodating upto 14 to 18 people.

What we love

  • This 3 bedroom villa that almost feels like an extension of the lush green rice fields and forests, is located in a quiet village famed for its arts and crafts, just about 15 minutes from the main center of Ubud.
  • The three bedrooms, one master bedroom with a bath tub and two others, set by the poolside, have been primarily built using wood and other natural materials and decorated with traditional Balinese art.
  • Spend time and relax across the different spaces of the villa - from the inviting full length swimming pool overlooking the paddies, the elegant living and dining areas that open up to the pool or the cosy media room where you can play your favourite music or get curious about the local shows on television.
  • Explore the rice fields, on foot or on a cycle, where you can watch farmers, wearing traditional conical straw hats, work the fields. The paddies make for a great background against which you can take numerous selfies, some even with the posing farmer. The villa provides a car with a knowledgeable driver who can take you to popular touristic spots as well those that are relatively unexplored, just as easily.
  • The friendly and every hospitable staff bring alive the feeling of being home away from home. The staff go out of their way to take care of your needs while the chef prepares some of the finest cuisine that you’re likely to sample in Bali!

What to know

  • If you’re a large family/ group, you can book another 4 bedroom villa alongside this one, giving you a total of 7 rooms across 2 villas, each glamorous, luxurious, fully equipped and well staffed!
  • Lay down under the shade of the traditional alang alang thatched roof bale, for a therapeutic Balinese massage where trained masseuse iron out tired muscles and nerves with gentle long pressured strokes, immediately putting the body into a state of relaxation.
  • Get closer to the Balinese culture and traditions by requesting for an entertaining Balinese dance performance, often based on and connected to Hindu rituals, legends and stories, performed beautifully by dancers clad in colourful attire, within the comforts of the villa. Watch them as they narrate the story with vivid hand movements and facial expressions.
  • Internet while available, may be patchy at times, and at best used for basic browsing and checking mails.
  • Lunch, snacks, dinner can be prepared by the in-house chef at a nominal charge of groceries plus 20% service charges. We highly recommend having a few main meals at the villa.
