Awesome Things to do nearby

1

Royal Command Performance

Entertainment has no agenda at the villa. While you’re there, you’re the King and you decide. A musical recital? A dance performance? An evening on the boat with flute accompaniment? A martial arts demonstration? You name it and they organize it! Now, is that royal or what?

Royal Feast

A lavish feast awaits you for lunch - Kerala ‘Sadya’. Sadya is traditionally a vegetarian meal served on a banana leaf. The main dish is plain boiled rice, served along curries such as parippu, sambar, rasam and others preparations such as kaalan, avial, thoran, mango achaar, papadum, buttermilk and chips. The traditional dessert called Payasam is served at the end of the meal. This is a royal feast typically served on special occasions.

Cruising on the backwaters

Cruise on the secluded backwaters in houseboats converted from rice boats. Take a glimpse into the lives of the locals - children splashing and swimming in the waters, women washing clothes, men sitting on the banks of the canals and fishing. The experience is enchanting and extremely peaceful to say the very least.
